The History of Brewer Carpet One

Brewer Carpet One has been a trusted name in flooring since 1983, when Tom Brewer founded Brewer Carpet & Design Center, Inc. after 11 years at Masland Carpets. Together with his wife Kathy, Tom opened their first store in Edmond, Oklahoma, which quickly grew into a thriving business built on quality and customer care.

In 1987, we joined the Carpet One Floor & Home cooperative — a move that strengthened our buying power and competitive pricing while allowing us to maintain our family-owned identity and community-focused values.

Today, Brewer Carpet One has grown to over 30 flooring stores across six states: Oklahoma, Texas, Iowa, Illinois, Missouri, and Florida. Our Owasso location remains independently owned and operated, and we're proud to have won The Oklahoman Readers' Choice Award for Best Carpet Store eleven years in a row!
